Build and Deploy an AI Chatbot

Goal

Launch a production-ready AI chatbot in minutes.

1) Create

Go to Chatbots → Create Chatbot and fill:

  • Name
  • Use case
  • Language
  • Translation mode as needed

2) Add Knowledge Sources

In the Knowledge Sources card, add at least one source via tabs:

  • Text
  • Website
  • Q&A
  • Files (upload/select from file picker)

Interactive tab indicators:

  • Green check: source filled
  • Orange circle: source missing

3) Respect Limits

  • Text up to 200,000 chars
  • Up to 50 files
  • Up to 300 completed Q&A pairs

4) Save and Validate

Save chatbot and run test conversations.

5) Operate with Status

Set status based on readiness:

  • Draft
  • Training
  • Active
  • OnHold

Use OnHold to stop responses immediately during incidents or maintenance.

6) Deploy

Assign channels and activate only after validation.

Important Boundary

This quick path creates an AI chatbot, not a full agent.
